These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website and services provided by The Home Reset by Simone, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), a Maryland limited liability company doing business as "The Home Reset by Simone." By booking a service, using this website, or otherwise engaging with us, you agree to these Terms.

1. About us

The Home Reset by Simone, LLC provides in-home organizing, decluttering, unpacking, and related services in the Baltimore, Maryland area. You are entering into this agreement with The Home Reset by Simone, LLC.

2. Acceptance

By booking a service, submitting an inquiry, or continuing to use our website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

3. Eligibility & authority

You must be at least 18 years old to book a service. If you are booking on behalf of a household member or organization, you confirm you have the authority to do so and to grant us access to the property.

4. Services

We provide personalized home organizing services. Specific scope, timing, and deliverables will be discussed with you before or at the start of a session. We may take before-and-after photos of organized spaces; identifying details will not be shared publicly without your permission.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the website or our services. In particular, you will not:

• use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes;
• attempt to interfere with, probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the site;
• upload malware, spam, or infringing content;
• infringe our or any third party's intellectual property rights; or
• scrape, harvest, or copy content in bulk without permission.

6. Bookings, deposits & payment

A non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking to reserve your session. The remaining balance is due after the session per the terms shown at checkout. If your deposit payment fails, your booking will not be created.

Payments are processed securely by our payment processor, Stripe. Additional payment terms are set out in Stripe's End User Terms.

Additional hours worked beyond the agreed session scope are billed at an hourly rate of $75 per hour and will be charged to the payment method on file after the session.

7. Cancellations & refunds

The only refund we offer is a full refund of your deposit when you cancel at least 7 days before your scheduled session. Cancellations made within 7 days of the session are not eligible for any refund; at our discretion the deposit may be applied to a rescheduled session. Balance charges, overage hours, and completed work are non-refundable. See our Refund Policy for full details.

8. Intellectual property

The website, its content, our organizing systems, checklists, branding, photos, and materials are owned by The Home Reset by Simone, LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute our materials.

9. Service level & warranties

We work hard to provide reliable services and a stable website, but we do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the website or refuse or cancel a booking if you: materially breach these Terms; fail to pay; create a safety, security, or fraud risk; or repeatedly or seriously violate our policies.

11. Payment processor

Card payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. The Home Reset by Simone, LLC is the seller of record and handles customer service, refunds (per Section 7), and any tax obligations that apply.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or incidental damages, including lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maryland.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
